A Warning

Do your children wear Crocs?

Have you heard that they can get caught in escalators, possibly mangling the feet inside them?

Have you thought that wouldn't happen to your child?

Have you thought you were too careful to let something like that happen?
Will you take what happened to the Little Guy as warning enough that it can happen to your child, no matter how careful you are being?

By God's grace, and the strength of his Daddy, who yanked him into the air, free of the shoe and the escalator steps, the Little Guy's foot is perfectly--blessedly--fine.  But having watched in horror as the Little Guy's Croc disappeared between the steps and the side of the escalator, accompanied by a lot of violent, grinding noises, and then was spit out a few seconds later, I know we won't ever be wearing Crocs on escalators again.  My baby's foot could have been inside that shoe.
Please, please take our warning as your warning.  It's not worth the risk.

Oh Elizabeth! Thank God Jacob was right there! How terribly scary! Thanking God for His protection over your precious boy! What sobering photos.
