Building Blocks

The National Building Museum hosted its Festival of the Building Arts this weekend, and it was the perfect place to take little boys!
Engineer daddies were right at home, as well.
Somebody got to use scissors for the first time.
And scored some pretty cool swag!
While somebody else slept cherubically through the whole thing.
And then came the very best part...a real big rig, open for exploring!
It was so great that leaving the big rig brought on the worst meltdown to date.  Wails of "mo' truck" echoed through DC all the way home.  And didn't stop there.

There is no doubt that Andrew was in heaven on the big rig!

You know, that's the first time I have seen Jacob in a hard hat and he probably wore one a lot in his engineer days! The whole thing must have been as fun for daddy as for his boys!
