Ingredients
1/2 cup cottage cheese
1 cup strawberries, quartered
5 Doritos, nacho flavored
2 pop-ices, preferably red
Directions
Make recipe only when all conditions are right: mother nursing, father working late, and toddler hungry-cranky-napless.
Provide all ingredients to hungry-cranky-napless toddler.
When bib is yanked off, neglect to reattach.
Liberally allow crunching and smooshing of ingredients by hungry-cranky-napless toddler.
Liberally allow swirling of ingredients.
Continue liberal allowances until baby is done nursing or until mixture becomes gritty, orange sludge.
Watch as all surfaces are thoroughly coated in mixture.
Yield
Makes one laundry disaster; ten sticky fingers; one satisfied, formerly hungry-cranky, but still napless toddler; and one fed baby.
Enjoy with bath followed closely by early bedtime.

ahhhhhhhh a little chef in the making!
That last picture looks like Marlon Brando in The Wild Bunch, just before they terrorize the town. Better put him to bed without his motorcycle!
i love your creativity. what mama hasn't watched as her child created their own "recipe" of deliciousness mixed with attitude? you are one clever girl!
Red has always been my favorte popsicles too - it must run in the family!
At least he was strapped in the high chair! I have vivid memories of Phoebe and yogurt...roaming freely...while I was feeding a very new Nora. Yikes! Thank the Lord for stain sticks and baby bath, right?
Amen!
P has just discovered crayons (you HAVE to get a Magic Eraser to go with them) and markers (we bought Crayola Color Wonder - which only work on the special Color Wonder paper). Both will keep her pretty busy (even when she's cranky) for longer than most things when I need a few extra minutes. Could be a good investment for a nursing mama with a busy little toddler bee :)
This recipe is working wonders for me; everytime I get hungry at the office I just remind myself of this mix and the hunger disappears!
