Buddy Boy and I had some very rare one-on-one time together this weekend. It was sweet.
He went to Target in his 'jamas. He brushed his teeth repeatedly.
He rode my hip.
He loved on his baby sister.
And I soaked up a little time with baby before he becomes my middle child.

So sweet. One-on-one time is always special.
I've always heard negative things associated with being a middle child, and so I've been feeling guilty about making Ramona a middle child lately! Being one of just two, we didn't have a middle child in my family when I was growing up, so I don't have any firsthand experience with it. Middle children: it isn't really so bad, is it?
As a middle child myself, I say it's not so bad! Of course, I used it as an excuse when I wanted my parents to feel sorry for me. But really, it was so cool to have a big and a little sibling. I learned from my sister's mistakes (nothing major), but still got to do things beforemy brother. I was looked out for and got to do the same. :)
He loves his mommy!
I can't help but think that he and Mary Camille would be great buddies!
