Original Art

{linking up today with a happy...}

round button chicken

The Little Guy, in the throes of artistic genius, sketched out this drawing.  And I know I'm not the only one who sees a lady's face in there!

I hung it on the fridge in delight and found that I became kind of enamored with his accidental abstract art.  I especially love her lips!

The little scratch pad drawing wasn't really suitable for wall display, but once I blew it up to 8 x 10 on the photocopier and traced it in Sharpie marker, I thought it merited a frame.  If I'd been buying a frame, I probably would have chosen black, but what I had around was this white frame, and I ended up liking it that way.
A little original art for the entryway makes me happy!

I love it! Can he write his name yet? If so he should sign it. I hope you at least put his name and age on the back.

Awesome Drawing! Just imagine if he becomes an artist later on in life! What a great piece of art too!

I love it! Think he was trying to draw a picture of you? :) The girls have a couple of small round canvasses hanging in their room that Amelia painted, and I love them. Such a cheap, fun project -- maybe $5/canvas at Michael's and $5 for a couple of tubes of paint and a brush -- and such a pretty result!

Wow--what an artist! Kudos for framing it. I'm sure it makes him that much more proud of his work. :)
