No Children Were Harmed in the Making of This Blog Post

Jumping...it's the new obsession.
My parents gave him a trampoline for his birthday.  At the time, he couldn't actually jump yet.
He could do the whole 'swing one foot forward from an elevated position and kind of hop down' thing.  But he couldn't actually jump up and down.
Well, dear readers, two months can make all the difference in a little boy's life.
Let's just say he can jump now.
He jumps on the trampoline.  And then he jumps off the trampoline.
He jumps from stools and down steps and off pillows and over thresholds and across blankets.  He sets up jumping courses for himself and meets goals that I would have estimated were beyond his ability.  He asks permission before jumping and he obeys the limits we set.  He asks that we count "1, 2, 3" and then he cries out "Jump!" right along with us.  He usually sticks his landing.  He always wants to do it again.

He's our favorite jumper.

I love this! Our MT is learning how to jump. She breaks it down to a super low squat and forces herself up, not letting her feet leave the ground...all while screaming "jumping! jumping! jumping!" Hilarious.
