Playgrounding: Part 1

There was a brief respite from the cold last week, so we hit the playground with Little Guy's best buddy.
And Buddy Boy and my buddy, too!
It was so nice to spend hours outside in the sunshine, with no need for coats or gloves.

These two are hilarious!  Little Guy chases his girl 'round and 'round the playground, saying, "I get you!  I get you!  I get you!"
And then when he does--at last--get her, he wants to hold her hand and hug her and give her a little kiss.  Then she's ready to be on her way.
But she likes the attention.  I know because I found her hiding out in the tunnel, calling for Little Guy to come get her.  :)
As usual, Buddy Boy finds all the action quite amusing.  It won't be long before he can join in!
The last time we visited this playground, my mother was with us.  Little Guy wanted to climb this ladder, and she showed him how to do it, but he was a bit too small and a bit too uncoordinated to handle it on his own.  This time, he walked right over and climbed to the top by himself, before I even realized he was attempting it.  They grow up so fast!
I'm ready for the return of playground weather...long walks and picnic lunches and sun on our faces and well-deserved naps.  For everything, there is a season.
