What a very merry Christmas we had in Alabama!
It started with Christmas Eve Mass, followed by dinner at my grandmother's with my father's side of the family. Wowo has always hosted us for Christmas Eve and I'm so thankful we were able to spend another year under her tree.
Little Guy and his cousin were so delighted to see one another, and the addition of new toys made it that much more fun. We'd woken up at 4:30 that morning for our flight out of DC and had gone hard all day, with no time for naps, so we had some seriously sleepy babies by nightfall. Buddy Boy had had a rough day, refusing to nurse for an 11-hour stretch, and spent most of the evening snuggled away in a sling that made its rounds between the Mister, my Daddy, and me.
But they rallied beautifully for Christmas morning!
Our morning was full of happiness...discussion of the birth of Baby Jesus, discovery of Santa's visit, and visiting with family over Mama's delicious brunch. We even got to videochat with my brother and his family in Virginia! Isn't technology grand?
And did I mention that we had a WHITE CHRISTMAS??? In ALABAMA!!! It snowed almost all day long, and it sure was pretty.
In the afternoon, Nana had my mother's side of the family over for Christmas dinner.
It was so much fun to see so many of my cousins. I think there are 22 in my generation! And in the generation below mine, five and counting...We tried to grab a year two picture of the quad cousins. As you can see, they were thrilled. Maybe three-year-olds are more agreeable to this sort of thing?
Hope your Christmas was just as merry! Still seven days of celebration left!

Merry Christmas to your precious family!! Looks like ya'll had a great time! Random question, but I'm wondering where you got that adorable camera strap?
Kelly, the camera strap was a gift from Jacob. He ordered it from a shop on Etsy...there are tons of styles available on there!
