Whew! Deep breath! It's been a whirlwind lately, which accounts for the radio silence on this little ol' blog of mine. Now the boys are both asleep and I have laundry to wash, suitcases to unpack, and notes to write, but I'll throw a few things out there first.
Before leaving Dixie, we got to catch up with several dear friends.
Coffee and Tot Lot Lot with Virginia and Maggie. |
A trip to Huntsville to see Jamie. Ice cream date with Vivian. (Moment caught by Jamie.) |
Two lovely visits from Bev. Each followed by fun meals with Mary B, which I somehow neglected to photograph! |
John Fletcher rolled over for the first time and I managed to catch a mid-roll photo. I think he was kind of propped up on his elbow before he rolled, but we'll count it anyway. What's a baby book without a little fudging?
We met beautiful Anne Louise!
She is so sweet and delicate and all rosy, and I love her. Andrew calls her Weez. :)
I can't wait until Fletch and Weez share a bond like Drewsky and Lilybit's. This whole babies-in-pairs thing is grrrrrreat! The little guy continued his love affair with the readily-accessible outdoors.
And sported some mean bedhead.
John Fletcher loved being loved on.
And gained at least 13 pounds while we were down there. Must have been the Halloween candy.
Andrew finally got up close and personal with one of those bikes he so admires.
We Roll Tided. Through thick and thin.
We cruised down the road with Aunt Betty to the grand opening of the new outlet mall.
And stopped in for a tour of the Bass Pro Shop. I'd never been...that place is so much FUN!
I soaked up some two-on-one time with my babies.
And, at long last, Jacob arrived! Which made for one very happy little boy. Well, two, really. And one very, very, very happy wife.
He got there just in time for John Fletcher's Baptism, which, of course, deserves a post of its own...
