Long time, no blog. We've been enjoying a visit from my Mama and lots o' pool time!
Waterpark time, to be exact.
I am so thankful for this waterpark. And I mean that most sincerely. I spent all of last summer trying to figure out a good swimming option for us. We tried everything from the $50/outing hotel rooftop pool setup to the city pool where we had to step over fallen-out hair extensions and the baby wasn't allowed to wear a hat. Nothing quite worked.
But this, my friends, this is perfect. Worth every minute of the half-hour drive (which really isn't bad, considering I regularly drive 45 minutes to the playground). There's a zero-depth baby pool with a waterfall and volcano, a 1-3 foot wading pool with a water mushroom, and a splash pad full of fountains that the little guy can reach. It's a toddler paradise! And we've got a summer pass. Woohooooooo!
All the water cannon shooting a heart could desire. Get a load of that gut! ;)
When we pull into the waterpark, Andrew starts kicking his feet and exclaiming, "paaaark! paaark!"
It might be because of this most miraculous of fountains. Turn...
Turn...
Turn a little more...and up pops the water! Sometimes 5 feet high!
So fun!
Add in the fact that we can have totally great, wear-him-slap-out, fun in the sun, outdoor play, all while I lounge Amazonian animal-style in a few inches of water, and the waterpark is sure to rank as our most frequented summer spot!

It is!
I definitely want to take Andrew for a return visit when I come in August! It looks like too much fun!
No hat??? What in the world? That is ridiculous.
This looks like SO much fun!!!
Look at that belly!!! I love a water baby. Grayson has not left the water either this summer... Be it lake or pool, we are always in our bathing suits!
I've missed you so! We got a summer pass to the park here one year and loved it! It's a perfect spot for a worn out Momma.
Looks fantastic! There must be one of those around here somewhere... I'm going to have to check it out. :)
How fun is that?? Such a great time can be had at a waterpark! We live in the Pacific Nowrthwest ~ summer hasn't really started yet...too cold for a water park! But oh...on the HOT days that do eventually come, it is a MUST...even for Mum and Dad! :)
Blessings,
Camille
Love the post! He keeps getting cuter, if that is possible?? I wish we had something like that!!
