Carpe Diem

We're in carpe diem mode with this pleasant weather.
So the little guy and I packed a picnic and a beach towel, and went out to do some bird watching, plane watching, dog watching, and the like.  That tiny pointer finger sure got a work out!
And Andrew suddenly became inspired to learn to use a spoon.  Better late than never, right?
But here's a word to the wise: if dabbling with outdoor utensil use for the first time, pick a day when the wind doesn't cause the Cheerios to fly right off of the spoon. That's a wee bit frustrating to little folks!
