Whisked Away

Ah, the beach.  The most wonderful, glorious beach.  There is nowhere I'd rather be than lounging in sunshine, with my toes dug into warm sand, listening to waves lap upon a shore.
So, when the Mister left for a 17-day business trip {boo-hoo} and my parents very kindly offered to whisk the rest of us away to the Maryland shore for a few days, I was all game.
We had the greatest time.
The boys spent four solid days digging up that beach, toting rocks around, spotting jellyfish, and catching crabs.  Baby Girl did her best to be a content beach baby.  My parents e-read and hunted sea life with their grandbabies.  I took several spins on the  paddle board {very fun!} with Little Guy as my sidekick, snuggled a lot with Buddy Boy, and spent the rest of the time nursing Baby Girl al fresco and documenting every moment of our fun.  It was grand.

this photo pretty well sums up life these days!

Turns out, this beach is less than 1.5 hours away from us.  And we never even knew about it.  We will be back.

Oh, yes.  We will be back.

Looks great! Also seems like the beach was really empty, which is nice.
