MC+A

Such a happy, handsome couple, uniting in marriage on the last day of the year.
And the sweetest little flower girl you ever did see.
The wedding was beautiful, and just a wee bit past Buddy Boy's bedtime.  :)
MC and A toasted their marriage with the same goblets the Mister and I used at our wedding, almost five years ago.
I love time with my brothers.
And my cousins!
My cousins and a couple aunts were out on the dance floor doing the Cuban Shuffle, and I was smiling and snapping pictures, thinking old fogey thoughts like, "Where do they learn this stuff?  All I know is the Electric Slide!"
And then out popped my parents, Cuban Shuffling with the best of 'em!  Want to know where they learned this stuff?  At the Senior Center!  Ha!  I bet they were the cutest ones there.
The wedding was the first time I got to meet my newest cousin, the bride, and she is really delightful.  Welcome to the family, MC!
The boys came to the first few minutes of the reception and then were shuttled back to the hotel by the babysitting team, so the Mister and I got to have a real live date night for NYE 2011!  It was nice.
These girlies weren't about to leave the party with the babysitters.  They were the stars of the dance floor!
My aunt, mother of the groom, looked so beautiful.
And I know they were so happy for their baby boy.
We saw the couple off at the stroke of midnight, under a canopy of fireworks, ushering them into their new life on the first day of the new year.  Ah, the romance of it all!

BettieBoyd does NOT visit a senior center! LOL. She is the picture of youth, vitality and -- yes -- beauty!

(Where was this shindig? Not in Alabama, I'm guessing.)

She DOES! They DO! Pretty funny, no?

The wedding was in Greenville, South Carolina, home of Furman University, the alma mater of the bride and groom.

1) I do not believe your cute, YOUNG mother goes to a senior center
2) I need a full length shot of you!!!

What a WONDERFUL wedding celebration and HOW FUN to enter the rest of your life via sparklers and oh, the grooms expression as he carried her away! Beautiful! Like a fairy tale!!!
