I'll admit that I was just going to let this year pass us by without any egg dying experience.  I just couldn't get the guts up.
It's a good thing I have a very brave friend!  And one with a rooftop deck that made the whole thing a little less risky!
After several attempts by Little Guy to crack the eggs on the edge of the bowl, and one attempt by his buddy to eat the dye pellet, we were officially dying eggs.
 Dying and drying.
 And looking on.
Each egg made several splashy trips through the color bowls.  Sort of a tie-dyed look.
And just enough dye on the kiddos to prove they'd done it.

I think they turned out quite pretty!
Almost as pretty as the tie-dyed sky.
Hope your Easter weekend is a happy one!

Beautiful -- eggs and sky! Happy Easter to the Snodgrass family.

Also -- Was Andrew wearing a onesie as a shirt? Hysterical. And smart, too.

Great eggs! The tie dye is wonderful, and the rooftop invitation was such a gift. Love, Mama
