Our Thanksgiving Visitors

This year, we hosted Jacob's parents for Thanksgiving.  We are so grateful they were willing to make the trip from Texas to join us at our table.  They didn't even seem to mind that there were toys piled up behind them.  (The joys of apartment living!)
We had such a pleasant celebration, mixing recipes familiar and new, reminiscing and laughing, sharing and giving thanks.

Don't you love Andrew's additions to the tablescape?
We got in a little post-dinner relaxation.
And then some pre-bedtime exercise.
The next morning, there was just time enough for a little Lego-building and a quick trip to the American History Museum.
Then, the grands were on their way!
Hope your Thanksgiving was just as happy!

What a fun celebration! I think I love that you left Andrew's contribution to the table scape ON the table the most! Go Mama, go!
