Swiffer/ WalMart Giveaway

Not too long ago, this showed up for me...
How fun is that?  I love this kind of stuff!

It came with a Swiffer SweeperVac and little jars of yucky stuff to use for testing the SweeperVac.
Aren't you glad that was synthetic hair?  I sure was!

Meet my assistant.  He totally wanted to dig into those food crumbs.
But instead, he helped me dump them out on the floor.  Also considered to be a pretty great activity.
I'll admit I was a bit dubious that the SwifferVac would be able to handle all this.  But, ladies and gentlemen, the SwifferVac was up to the task!
Not a speck remained, between the vacuum action and the dust-collecting electrostatic cloth!

The SweeperVac is lightweight and designed for cleaning hard floors.  It swivels easily, so it was great for getting underneath the cabinet edges and behind the toilet...all those places you'd rather no one ever looked!

So easy a baby could do it!
The only 'con' I noticed was that the battery was flagging by the time I'd done the floors of our kitchen and two bathrooms.  Considering that the full charge time is about 12 hours, this was a bit of a bummer.  If you have a utility room or closet where it can be left plugged in like a dustbuster, I think this wouldn't be a big deal.

Regardless, I believe the 'pros' outweigh any battery issues.  We're thoroughly enjoying this addition to our Swiffer collection!

If you'd like to win a $40 WalMart gift card, which you could use to purchase a Swiffer SweeperVac, please leave a comment telling me what you find most frequently on your kitchen floor!  And don't forget to leave an email address or some way for me to get in touch with you, in case you're the lucky winner.  All U.S. residents are welcome to enter.  One entry per person, please.

This was a compensated review and giveaway.  The Swiffer SweeperVac, refills, information, and WalMart giftcard were all provided by P&G through MyBlogSpark.

OH, PA-LEASE pick me!!! I used to have a bissel flip ease and it was just like this, only the charge lasted long enough to do my entire house, and it also had a reusable static cloth and it also sprayed out floor cleaner for "spot mopping." It was/is THE GREATEST INVENTION EVER!!! And after nearly two and a half years of using it daily - daily, I tell you, she gave up the ghost. And. Bissel. Doesn't. Make. Her. Anymore.

I find everything on my kitchen floor...cheerios, chewed up and spit out grapes, raisins, crumbs, dog hair, chalk, you name it, it's there.

Ok, bet you weren't expecting an essay. :)

Teaching a just turned 2 year old to use the potty, lately I've found #1 and #2 (gross I know) on my kitchen floor. Also, sidewalk chalk. Maci Rose seems to think that was made to write on any type of floor. I sure could use a wal-mart gift card and especially in 5 weeks when baby # 2 gets here!

You are the funniest friend I have! Love this!
Check Susanna and Beverly's Face book pictures. I have people on my floor!! Don't think the swifter could handle them!

Wal-Mart is our one stop shop... Oh the delight I would have with a gift card to my EVERYTHING store! Hmmm... as of the latest inspection of our kitchen floor there are rocks and pollen (I would be skeptical if the Swiffer Vac could handle Lily graveling the kitchen floor in the spring) and then there are cheese strings and 'cake' wrappers that I could really use help with!!

I find that anytime my husband cooks, which is quite often, there are spices and food remnants everywhere, including the floor. Also having a springer spaniel, there is dog hair on occasion (which I clean up the minute I see it..I HATE dog hair, especially in a kitchen) Hope I win!!!

Sigh, cat hair. Two cats + hardwood floors = cat hair everywhere, all the time... We also have been finding rainbow sprinkles on the kitchen floor. Amelia was shaking a large container of them one day and managed to open it mid-shake. Rainbow sprinkles everywhere! :)

popcorn! your uncle Joe makes it every day and we buy it at Walmart since they have a incredably good price on the Orville Redenbauker (sp) pop your own.

I am almost 100% certain that we will not win this, but I will try anyway! What do we find on our kitchen floor? I think the better question is what do we not find on our kitchen floor!?! ha! Mostly fruit chunks. grapes, etc. Lovely, i know :)

Special K cereal, by far. I would love to blame it on Dan, but I'm sure it's my fault!

It's a toss-up between smashed grapes, cheerio's and sticky spots (I think these would come from juice. Which Miss Priss manages to get out of ANY sippy cup.). The bottom line is - I wouldn't walk barefoot on it. Is that bad??

With no children or pets, our kitchen floor remains pretty clean, but we do have our fair share of crumbs.

My floors are full of dog hair, though luckily that's easy to clean.

Little piles of previously eaten cat food. You're brave to hope that Andrew won't continue the "testing"!

Pet hair, and cat litter. I have tried everything to keep my kitty from tracking litter all over the house, but nothing seems to works, so I am constantly sweeping. I definitely need one of those!

I can't believe they send samples! Andrew should be on the next Swiffer ad!! :)

I'm going to go with what will soon be found on my kitchen floor...dog hair!
