The Mattress Chronicles: Part III

Was it stupid to put him down for afternoon nap on that same mattress?  Maybe so, but I didn't really know what else to do.

Can you see the foam in his hair?!
Lots of little chunks, just the size of Andrew's hand.
Complete and utter destruction.
He's sleeping on beach towels and quilts until his new mattress arrives.

WOW. As I saw the shredded foam on the floor, I was reminded of the time when Phoebe spent naptime at my mom's house removing pictures from the wall and completely destroying a lampshade. The lampshade fragmented into pieces just like the foam did. Kids are incredible...

I realize it is much easier for me to say this from afar than you, who has to clean it up, but that is SO funny and he is SO adorable!!!! I love that smile!!

Kids are indeed incredible, Sarah!

Holland, we have a play pen, but he doesn't sleep very well in it. I took the pad from it, though, to use as the first layer for his makeshift mattress.

Anna and Mama, I was definitely laughing too, in between the fits of exasperation!

Good question! I think I've found one of better quality, though.

haha..I am sorry, but he is such a little rascal!! Waaayyy to funny! He and Anna Reese are so much alike. They could take a house down in 1 hour if we just let them loose together :)

hee hee hee hee hee!!! I'm laughing so hard over this one. Unfortunately, his looks a bit past gone, but I will say (in case it happens again) duck tape works wonders! On their hands (just kidding) and on the mattress (for real - that's what we did). :)
