Andrew at 7 Months

Wow, what a lot has changed over the past month! I feel like we're going 90 mph down the developmental milestone highway.
Not only has Andrew mastered sitting up this month, but now he's started pulling up a bit and will take lots of tiny steps while holding someone's hands. And he loves to crouch in a ready-to-crawl position, bottom scooting back and forth like he's at the starting block. I think he'll be on the move soon. Then, just this weekend, the tippy top of a bottom tooth popped through his gums. That sweet little smile won't be gummy for long! Getting some chompers in will be of great help for doing what he loves best...eating! He now has a big bowl of rice cereal for breakfast, more cereal and a vegetable for lunch, and cereal and fruit for supper. Add in 5 nursings a day, and he's fully nutritionalized.

He's still as sweet as ever--hardly ever fussing and hardly ever not smiling. It must be all the sleep he gets! He's regularly napping about 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon, and sleeps at night from 8 'til 6 (with a shout out or two in between, but no feedings). They say all the real brain development happens while the baby sleeps, so I guess he's just getting ready for the SAT's.

Life these days...c'est magnifique!

Can not believe how much he's changed - I don't think there is any doubt that baby will score high SAT's when the time comes!
