Stay-at-home Mommyhood

Today is the first day I really feel like a stay-at-home mommy. Part of it has to do with the fact that my Mama just left on Friday and Jacob returned to his regular work schedule today, so it's the first time I've been home alone with the baby all day long. But an even greater part of it has to do with the fact that I just found a glob of spit-up in my hair. And based on the matted-ness of the affected hair and the time at which I last burped the baby...it's been there a while.

It's a glamorous world--and I LOVE it. :)

Wanting What I Have said...

Ok, this makes me remember when my mom left...and I cried and cried...didn't know HOW I'd manage...:)

And it makes me remember a few weeks into "mommyhood" when I began noticing white spots on our hardwood floors...what in the world? Um...spit up...

So glad you are loving it! It is wonderful!

Having Mama leave was definitely hard, but I'm so thankful she was able to be with us for a good while. I'll be sure to watch the floors for mysterious white spots! :)

Thanks for sharing the fun pictures--he looks like both of you (and a little like your dad)!

I hope all is well and hope you received something from me during all the craziness.

I love you!
