A Swift Kick in the Ribs
The past few days, I have been concerned that Baby Andrew may have worked himself into a transverse position (lying sideways across my tummy). I could feel one hard, round mound on one side and another on the other side, which I'm pretty sure were his head and his bottom. But yesterday, he was moving a lot in a funny-feeling way (and creating a fair amount of pain for mommy) and I thought that perhaps he was getting his head back down into go position. Well, about 3:00 this morning, I had confirmation of that. I received a swift kick in the ribs that made me wake with a scream. This was my first-ever kick in the ribs! I think my scream may have startled him because he followed up the karate kick with a bit of a tap dance right below my ribcage, which still is way higher than I've ever felt movement before. A kick to the ribs has never felt so good!

He sounds like a future acrobat - maybe he is in training for the Cirque du Soleil show!!!
