Hunkerin' Down for the Hurricane

Well, we arrived Saturday afternoon to the beach, all bright and sunshiney. Yesterday, the weather still held, and we had a nice, albeit overcast, day.

All the kids, lounging at the pool:
The guys went deep sea fishing and brought back lots of fish, which we took to a nearby restaurant to be be fried, blackened, or grilled for our dinner. Yum! Getting ready to head out for dinner, as the wind began to pick up:

And then we woke up to the seas roaring!

We've had hardly any rain, but the wind has caused the ocean to almost cover the beach.
And jellyfish the size of dinner plates have washed up on the beach.
The waves are taller than we are.

But so far, so good!
