If my nails aren't polished I'll pick and pick and pick at them, and drive the Mister completely crazy, so for the last year or so, I've been devoted to shellac manicures, with their two-week promise of pretty nails. But at $35+ a pop, a shellac habit runs up fast. Enter...the 10 Minute Manicure, done with some wondrous little products my Mama introduced me to. Costs very little, lasts almost a week, and can be done in a few spare minutes at home.
First, a coat of Sally Hansen Hard as Wraps.
Then, two coats of Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure. I like Back to the Fuschia {shown below}, Arm Candy {a pale pink}, and Plum Luck {a deep purple}.
And finally--the key to the whole 10 minute thing--a coat of Seche Vite.
You can move quickly between each coat of polish, and the Seche Vite will dry it all in a few minutes at the end. It really does last almost a week, looking great, even if you're changing diapers and soaping dishes all day! Give it a try!

Thank you!!! I will be buying one of each. My nails hold their color for about 24hrs and then look awful. I need a good fix that's worth the time and effort for the payoff. :)
Barbara sticks her fingers in ice water for a few minutes after the polish has been applied. Sets it up hard and fast.
Will you give me an manicure next visit?
